6-Week Decommission Project for Zurich Insurance
Scope: Zurich Insurance moved their 3,000 person staff to a new location, requiring them to move all of their office furniture, systems and equipment within a six week time frame. With the time frame in mind, as well as the amount of square foot space needed to cover, it took over 18,000 labor hours to manage this project.
Wal-Tek's commitment to client: This project established early the importance of affecting local communities and environment in a positive way. With this job scope's mission, it required more labor than usual but more positive aspects in the long run. Working with our client, our team was able to redirect 80% of the product away from landfills. A handful of local organizations benefited from the donated office furniture and office systems.

Multi-Floor Decommission in Chicago, IL
Scope: Wal-Tek keeps the job site itself in mind when creating our job scopes. This building is in the heart of downtown, which required us to make trucking a consideration during our walk-through. With the loading docks under the building, operations had to use trucks that had a maximum height to fit through.
Wal-Tek's commitment to client: To manage our customer's bottom line, our project management team had to control the labor scope regarding how many times the product was handled by our team. Based on the site itself, we were able to prep the furniture on skids to easily load on site and unload at our warehouse. This is one example of our proactiveness on our projects, on how one scope will affect another.
Multi-Phase Relocation & Reconfiguration
With a five phase project, our project coordinators work closely with our client to bring this project to fruition. Consisting of many moving parts, including multiple addresses, each scope was tailored to be flexible based on our client's wants and needs. Any change orders were handled with efficiency to avoid any deadline delay.
