OBJECTIVE

Wal-Tek was contracted to receive, deliver & install four floors of modular wall at 155 North Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL. With delayed product, our operations team had to create a tightened installation timeline with us staying within budget.

SOLUTION

Based on product arrival to our warehouse, we ran separate crews among the different floors to stay ahead of one another. The glass manufacturer that our client had used, was only able to ship them on metal a frames that required our team to offload using a forklift for redelivery on our trucks. Given the job site address we were only able to utilize our low trucks so our team created wooden a frames inside our trucks to safely transport the glass. Staying flexible and highlighting communication between our field crew, operations team, project management team; we were able to complete this project prior to our client's deadline.
