OBJECTIVE

Wal-Tek was contracted to receive, deliver & install furniture across one full floor in the Chicago suburbs. The client had a tightened inspection deadline and move-in deadline. In order to pass inspection, they needed workstations, conference tables and private offices installed prior.

SOLUTION

Wal-Tek's operation’s team, project management team and receiving department held a pre-install meeting. By
establishing run rates for each installation type and mapping them against delivery schedules, we created a
roadmap to maintain installation efficiency throughout the two weeks.

With this roadmap in hand, our team was able to proactively sequence crew size and deliveries to complete ahead of the inspection date.
